The Montgó Natural Park, declared a natural park in 1987 due to its rich flora and fauna and its scenic value, is home to the Montgó Interpretation Centre, hiking trails, and the opportunity to discover Mediterranean landscapes that combine mountain vegetation with views of cliffs, Denia’s beaches, and Cape San Antonio.
The Torre del Gerro
The Torre del Gerro is a 16th-century Renaissance fortification, unique for its circular configuration and for having formed part of the coastal surveillance system implemented during the 16th and 17th centuries to defend against pirate incursions. The tower can be reached by following the Cova Tallada route.
